Why pay for this when I can use ChatGPT or Claude?

You can. A general-purpose AI will also happily tell you exactly what you want to hear about a stock. Brief.finance won't. Every brief has a bull case AND a bear case by construction, severity-ranked risks, and no directional verdict — the product enforces a research discipline you wouldn't enforce on yourself. The AI is the engine; the discipline is the product.

Where does the data come from?

Public sources: SEC EDGAR filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), earnings call transcripts, TTM fundamentals, daily price action, and recent news. Every claim in a brief links back to the source it leans on.

How accurate is the AI synthesis?

The model is instructed to ground every paragraph in the supplied sources, never to invent figures, and to publish a balanced bull and bear view on every brief. Each output runs through a forbidden-language validator before it is saved — it cannot use directional words like buy or sell even if it tries.

Why both bull and bear on every brief?

One-sided takes are the worst kind of investing content. We require both cases on every brief, every time. If a brief cannot make a credible opposing case, that is usually a signal the situation is not as clean-cut as it appears.

Can I cancel any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Manage your subscription from the Stripe customer portal, one click from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep your remaining briefs until then.
